Michelle has been teaching for almost 25 years and owns and operates her own dance studio in Cochrane, Alberta, Canada - Dance Debut.  With a Psychology degree from the University of Calgary, Michelle has a special interest in child development and sports.  Her programs are prepared based on the mental, physical and emotional development of the dancers.  She is a Certified Touch for Health Instructor, who teaches a muscles release technique to balance the muscles and mind of the dancer.  Continuing to upgrade her skills, Michelle is choreographing and creating works that integrate the right and left sides of the brain and the body, and allows students to move with the greatest amount of ease and success.

Michelle has put her knowledge of creative teaching into several theme based programs she has written for teachers and parents.  Her latest endeavor with "Stacey on the Keyboard" book, CD and Imagination Kit combine her years of experience into one complete package.  The storybook is written with action words, creative ideas for imaginations to play with and a parent/teacher section at the back of the book for more ideas.  The CD includes an e-book copy of the story to load onto your computer, choreography and lyrics to print off, a foot position poster for easy following with "Stand Like That", and a variety of songs for both boys and girls.  Brain Integration work is included in "Criss Cross, Oh My Gosh!" , Hip Hop is part of Jacob's Rap, and Twinkle Toes is for budding Ballerina's.   Stacey's Imagination Kit includes a puppet (very popular with all the students), an energy ball, development supplementation for teachers to consider in their course plans, dance camp programming, choreography, games, activities, coloring pages and more..."Stacey on the Keyboard" is a complete package for school teachers and dance teachers to open and begin!
